No person shall engage in the business or profession of tree trimming or tree surgery in the City of Osborne, Kansas, without having first obtained a license as hereinafter required. Such license shall be issued by the city clerk upon written application therefor approved by the governing body, and payment of annual license fee of $10.00. Such license shall expire one year from the date issued. No refund shall be made for such license.

All persons engaged in tree trimming or tree surgery in the City of Osborne, Kansas shall file with the city clerk a certificate of insurance stating that the person currently has in effect minimum liability insurance $300,000.00 for the death or injury of any number of persons in any one accident and $50,000.00 for property damage in any one accident. Such policy of insurance shall be issued by some insurance company authorized to do business in the State of Kansas.
